I would not be surprised this looks to me like the walkera 59D with a flybarless head and 3 axis gyro - walkera are probably working on the 60B as we speak and that would be a interesting one to go flybarless with.

As cheap as this model is i'm thinking about picking one up. If I wanted to upgrade the main brushed motor to a 3s turbo ace i have off my ufly would i need a signal converter and a brushless ESC? If so ne1 recommend a converter?

It may not be possible to convert to a brushless ESC. It is possible that the receiver have only got two pins ports instead of 3 pins for the throttle and rudder. This is the case with the CB180D.

Also, if you do not have a 2801Pro Tx, I would recommend you to buy a model that come with a 2801Pro as that can be used for your other helis.

Does this look like 3 wires on all the receiver channels? I can't tell. So does that mean it just needs a brushless motor and a brushless ESC? At $134 dollars for a bind and fly version from ehirobo I'm really considering adding this to my fleet. The V450D01 is taking for ever to come out to the US.

Ahh yes, 3 pins on each channel !

The videos look good. One of the videos say it is as stable as a 450 with a Fly Mentor system.

just ordered one of these.

looks to be an updated #22e - pretty much the same size and layout - looks like they just added a metal battery cage, 3axis gyro and the fbl set up.

excited to get this thing in the air.

The hot ticket here seems to be the Rx, 3 axis, as long as it drives 4 servos it would be awesome in just about any heli of 250 or larger size.

What I am worried about is the rudder function. It is possible that the ESC is built into the receiver and may not drive normal servos.

I can see an ESC for the throttle alright but not for the rudder.
