I am tempted too try hot glue. Be nice if I could melt it and poor it into a cast sort of thing.

Black Gorilla Tape works too. Their version of duct tape. Very strong adhesive and the black hides everything but the wires coming out. Just cut the width down to about half or less to overlap the blades about 4-6mm (1/4") and it will look alright. Anything else will cost more bank.

Im about to remake a dual version and wired in series.

On my last single units I've done the jumper on pin 30 to 34 so it fires up.

Do I need to jumper any others?

This is all over in this thread and on the internet. They are one of the simplest to activate for us.

May be dead units - they are being pulled for a reason.

Video Instructions

I want to thank everyone in this thread that figured out how this works and wrote up instructions. I just created a video for going through the full process in case it could help someone else.

Doing this myself once all the parts arrive, to replace my 10 year old Ripmax 13.8v 20A supply which has started smelling awful when under load. Going to build this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2184140

Will report back once it's all together.

Oddly I just had the parts printed. Now to get the alloy bar cut for me and drilled. I have a stack of PSU's on the bench ready.

The small bits I just need to get hold of.
