Looking in the wrong place Dale. Should look in the Vintage forum.
Try this :- http://oldboats.tk/sterling1.html Hover mouse cursor over "CC Catalina" and slide pointer to right which should show box art picture. If you now click onto the "Plan" box at the top of the page, there ya go. Regards Ian. |

Century Thunderbold 40'
Hi!
I'm Christian from Germany and this is my first post at RC Groups I would like to show my Century Thunderbold 1939 racer. This is not the 30' version that be can build from a US kit, but a scratch build version with a lengh of 40' from a german plan The challenge was to fabricate all the fittings by my self. The choosen version is not the well known Chickie 4, but the "Zeus" with black hull. Regards |

Semi scale runabout 50' Pedrazzini
The wooden boat manufacturer Aeronaut is very popular in Germany. Two years ago, they did launch a big and impressive kit of a 50' runabout called Comtesse.
It is supposed to be a semi scale version of a swiss boat from the manufacturer Pedrazinni. I was one of the first buyer of the kit, but I did not really like the bulky back and I decide to modify the boat. In addition, I did install two stern drives povered by BL motors. Here is the result. The smal runabout is the "Classic" from Aeronaut, also made from mahagoni. Regards Christian |

One of the best kits in the sixties was the Catalina 42'' Flying bridge designed by H. Morriel (which was 2nd with this boat at the european scale champion ship in 1958)
The Kit was produced by Hegi, later on sold under the brand Revell (new owner of Hegi). The quality of the parts was amazing at this time. This one is a version restored in 2016. |

Graupner hass produced in the seventies a nice semit scale kit from the Riva Junior. It is now a demanded specimen, provided that they are in acceptable condition.
This one was restored in 2015 and converted to electric with BL motor. |

Here is a runabout semi scale type Boesch with approx 40' lengh. It is based on mahagoni kit from aeronaut, however the back has been modified (slight barrel back shape) to be much more elegant than the original from the kit.
It is poweverd by a BL Motor and reaches approx. 45 km/h on 4S lippo battery |

This is one of my favorit kits. It shows the Jules Verne, a model of a dutch retro yacht build in the 90th.
Unfortunately, Graupner has produced the kit only beteween 2003 and 2007. It's my first wooden boat and also my comeback to RC models since my youth (I was non active for 35 years!). |

Next one is a Catalina 52'' semi scale based on a modified hull and kit from the Victoria Aeronaut.
Lenght approx 35' |
