3rd Annual KIEF F3P, 17 Oct 2010

Hi All,

Seems strange to talk about indoor already, but KIEF is not that far away, and indoor pattern will be flown again this year.

2 classes planned -
F3P-A, modified FAI F3P-A schedule (full turnaround)
F3P-B, center maneuvers only

To help with planning, please let me know (in this thread or PM) if you are going to compete, or can assist with judging / scoring.

Regards,

Dave

Looking Forward to it, I hope to make it...

Looked at the schedules, isn't there something between A and B? I am not happy with my integrated rolls and don't know if I will get to work on them much between now and then as I have to put together a new indoor plane as last years got in a hangar accident.

FWIW, make hotel reservations soon. There's a bunch of pipeline workers in the area and some of the hotels I tried to get in were already booked solid.

RE Hotels.....as Azarr found....I found quite a few booked...quite a few ~$140+ per night....and some of the cheap have horrible reviews. I booked at the Ridgemont (not listed on the KIEF website) for $55+ tax per night. Probably 5 minutes further, but good reviews, and cheap.

Can't say as I'd be thrilled about 2.25 reverse spins or 9 snaps from F3A with foamies......

If we wanted to do something other than the FAI F3P prelim sequence....maybe the finals sequence....of course it has a spin and a tailslide.
