Eek! I see RC People!
I have parts coming, but not here yet. I have never been to the Glen Canyon or Hoover dams. I have been to the Hungry Horse Dam in Montana on a trip we took to Glacier. It's a similar type of dam, just not nearly as big. I also have never had the pleasure of taking a Waverunner for a ride. Loads of fun, I'm sure.

Looks nice Phil! I've always liked the black anodized heads and they look even better with the carbon frames... with that white LG it kinda reminds me of a Penguin tux

The frame is all done. Electronics installed. Sorry no pics at the moment. Head setup complete. Rudder setup complete. Just need to put some velcro on the receiver, ESC and regulator and redo all the velcro on the batteries. Probably will maiden it on Sunday. Oops! Almost forgot. I need to lube up the TT gears too.

Well, just spent the day at the hospital. Did not get to any of the work on the Velcro done today. So no maiden on Sunday. Hopefully, I'll get it done tomorrow for a maiden on Monday.

Hope it wasn't too serious. I could be there Monday, if you end up getting it done.

Not going to maiden it on Tuesday either. Family responsibilities will keep me from flying entirely. Maybe Wednesday.

Sounds like me

A lil story from tonight-

Well, I went to go fly tonight after fixing the boys some dinner. I had everything packed and told them to pile in, when my oldest asked if he could fly the slow stick. It's been over a year since he's expressed any interest, so I dusted it off and grabbed the buddy box. I had one charged battery for it, so off we went. He flew pretty well considering how long it's been and I even felt comfortable in letting him land. He did overshoot the trimmed field by 10' but the weeds made a decent cushion .

I didn't get to do any flippin' but that doesn't matter, it was great to have him by my side enjoying the hobby.

That's sounds pretty good actually. I'm glad you can enjoy the hobby with your son. Even if it is just infrequently.
