Also asked the question about strength and was told "Have not seen a sample yet but the pre release info shows it to be stronger than the 4-site"

cheers chuck
AFAIK e-Flite, PZ and whatever are all part of Horizon Hobbies. The quality is all going to be very similar.

For myself, I am looking forward to getting the gear to stick into who knows what.

This is a quantum leap of performance potential.

Not that I mind having it all stuck in a nice looking airplane!

Wow, want one, if it flies(3d) better than a 4site, i've been waiting for an rtf or bind n fly micro that flies better(more stable) and more durable than the 4site. And of course a BL setup, sweeeettttttttt........

I'm wondering how many amps that AR6400BL can handle, and how much it will cost. It's not really hard to go 2S brushless on the current AR6400(L), but this makes a nice clean and easy conversion.

I wonder what the little screws on the front of the motor are for?

Maybe they've invented a way to avoid bending the motor shaft when it crashes?

I don't think it will ever be close to the 4-Site for 3D. Sure enough, hovering won't be a problem like it is currently on the 4-Site, since you should have tons of power, but, this plane has TWICE the wingloading of the 4-Site. So sure it will do great 3D, but everything will likely be at warp speed. I guess it will simply be different. I kind of like the slow speed the 4-Site can do when I (try to) do 3D. Yet, I like the full fuse on this Beast, so no matter what, I'll get used to having to fly faster because I'm ordering one day 1!

It will fly more like a full scale/balsa ship IMO, the ovwer 1-1 power ratio but with a higher wingloading. I just want a .20-.30 sized Electric/nitro Balsa Beast now

Love the idea of the ar6400 with built in BL esc, definitely opens up the possibilities a bit.

I think this will fly at mustang like speeds, but will definitely be way more maneuverable. Might just have to get rid of the mustang and replace it with this one.

Aw man, you can't get rid of the stang...just add this one to the hanger.
