Yeah I know that's why I'm going to fly at the high school, this was just a test. And BTW, that "area" is basically all that CT is, trees. So even at the high school, there's so many trees on basically every side. Probably only going to be able to fly about once or twice a week, if that. Can't just drive myself down to the field, LOL

That is the fun of getting items for free, you bash them left and right, and mark that as fun factor of 100. If you pay a lot of $$s , every crash has quite a different fun factor, usually with negative prefix.
Have fun, DJO, enjoy it all the way.

BTW, were you flying it in your backyard, or mostly you were hand launching it? It seems that all the flights are very short, like gliding from a hand launch.

No I was just hand launching it for gliding. Just to test out the CG. Sheesh! Sorry that I made you jealous I was just having fun. No, I'm not going to fly again in the backyard. And yes there were a few mishaps....

LOL

Wow, jealous.

Come back to Earth, DJO. It's your planes that need to fly, not you.

I am glad that you are getting items for free.
If I HAVE asked to get items for free, and I HAVEN'T got them, but you DID, then you can say I am jealous, NOT if I say that you are careless because loosing some equipment doesn't hurt your wallet.

Question for the FPV-ers with Aiptek camcorders.
I have one and I want to record my flight on it. All is good until the first video glitch/loss of signal. Even the smallest disruption, stops the recording, and even that the video gets back in a fraction of the second, the recording is stopped, and is not resuming.

Is there a setting for changing that behavior? It is almost impossible to get glitch free video, and I have heard people using Aiptek for recording, but, how do they prevent the recording to stop?
Any suggestions?

First time back flying multirotor FPV.
Nothing fancy... slow and steady trying out new Vtx and antenna.

First test of New Vtx test (5 min 46 sec)

I read somewhere that Auto OFF shoud be turned OFF, which is OFF in my case, but still as soon as there is no signal, the recording stops, and next second when the signal comes back, you need to press the recording again to continue recording.

Is someone using VuPoint DVR for video recording, and how do you like it?

BTW, CG, nice video, it was probably a blast to be around so many fellow FPV-ers.
