Whats the build time on these ? Looks like 2-3 hours work ? Have you all used Foam Safe CA or some Epoxy ?

6s, 4000mah with no tray or hatch mod

I am putting the finishing touches on my battery install. I am going with the HK servoless retracts so I removed the Air System, though there was room to keep as an option with a little adjustment. 2, 4000mah 3s packs lay flat and in line to one another so I did not have to lower the tray or butcher the hatch. Balances pretty well, have to add a small extra weight up in the nose but not enough to worry about. Only mod to the hatch was to remove a little foam from the backside of the "tongue" so my front battery can move forward towards the hatch edge. Will post photos later today when the sun comes up.

The 6s is running a Cyclone Motor (2500kv), turning an E-Flight Delta Fan. (I have this on my Lander Cougar and it performs great) My buddy John has done extensive tests on several different fan/motor combos using a data logger and the Cyclone/Delta fan was a winner. Good speed, great thrust and max Amp draw around 50-54, cruise Amp draws in the upper 20s - and long flight times. Sure you can pump all kinds of Amps into a fan but we were looking for a good balance of performance, economy and run time. John used a Dynam Meteor as a test bed for ease of fan exchange. Data Chart Attached if your interested.

Will post photos later today when the sun comes up of the battery area.
That's my .02! Have a good one.

DX7
Trying to find info on ailerons and flap setup of my Huff. So far they only work together not as 2 separate systems.

I just followed the poor instructions in the book, it said connect ch1 to aileron servo and ch2 to the servo. (thinking they meant flap servo?)

Yep it looked like a y harness when I put it together following the instruction booklet. But I am not getting them to work independently.
Sorry for my lack of knowledge- still a noob.

do they both work ? could be they did not put a reversed servo on one side ???the red servos are reversed.if only one works could be bad "Y" harness.and make sure the flap Yharness is plugged into your flap ch on the rx.
