My micro is fun but not nearly as fancy as some of these.

My son and i have dubbed it the Puddle Pod becauce it is basically a 1/6th scale Peapod hull.

Arizona aluminum boat


aluminum boat from Arizona tea can just a one day project. slow and liked to turn right or go streight...but it was made with electrics from a airhogs plane and my props were aluminum from a can too that i just bent. shafts are from a can of air tube.

Here are some photos of Mona Lisa. She is just over 2 sticks (13 inches). The motor is from a large scale servo, as is the speed control. The birds, and skipper are sculpted from plastic spure, from old model car kits, using a hot soldering iron, small files etc. The skippers clothes are made from the same plastic, melted down in liquid plastic cement, then brushed over bits of paper towel and positioned. All the pulleys, cabin and other fittings were cut from plastic sheet.
The roof is made from fine sandpapper, painted to look like roofing matrial.
