Upgrades for J-Power F-16 50MM?


My friend wants cheap upgrades that are worth his money.

He wants a new motor and fan unit combo, a new ESC, and some new servos, because the quality of the servos is shabby. I see lots of people saying that they fail in flight, causing them to crash and occasionally have to pay for more repairs.

So what should I tell 'em?

there is a whole thread about those and all the moddding and testing we did..

stock motor on a cheap hobbyking 6blader 50mm edf(some trimming is needed)
4s pack and some hxt900s is the cheapest and most reliable way to go..

On the other hand servos do not fail.. the problem is that the travel is usually causing the push rods to bend and that gives more stress to the servos.. + sometimes the servo wires get sucked in by the EDF unit.. you can imagine what follows...

I don't imagine anymore.. I have the whole picture
