If the photo included previously wasn't exaggerating the looks of it, that design's tail moment is as short as any combat design that has a separate stab included -- in other words, very short-tailed, indeed!

P. S. I don't know about any of the rest of you, but the relatively old PC in this room I use for forum visiting and eMail, and many other 'Net activities is slower than any other PC I have on hand at home, so I don't often load any of Adobe's programs, which bog down a lot on old PCs. It's now a little while after my initial reply, and I have now used Adobe 's PDF Reader. The Kentish .. is very definitely short-tailed, and LONG-nosed! Let's call it the Durante for that nose!

Does anyone know approximately when the Model Aircraft plan of the 'Skyliner' was designed or published. The model has a Mills 1.3 so it must have been back in the mid 50's or early 60's.

Cheers Mike

I printed the plan off this thread but cannot find it again.

Thanks once again Ray. It is a neat little model and I have a Mills 1.3 to go in it. I would guess that 35 foot lines would be more in keeping with its power ?

Here's a scan of my old "critter" eaten copy of Vernon Hunt's Warlord FAI combat model. It's Vintage legal and suits either an Oliver Tiger 2.5cc or a similar sized PAW. Span is 32.7" and I've adjusted it as close to that as I can get.

Also submitted to Hippocket.

Gabriel,

Here is the Australian version. The Baby Bird

There has been a thread on this model over on the Barton Control Line Forum, and the plan redrawn on CAD.
