OOPS typo on the lipo ... wing span is 34 inches, it has more area on the vertical fuse for improved knife edge and a little longer lines for a nice blend between 3D and pattern type flying. Painted foam with spars glued in weighs in at 80.5 grams, so the build will come out at around 7.5 oz, about half an oz heavier then the yak.

Greg:

Do these McFoamy's come already hinged? Does blenderm work on that EPP foam? I know you recommend welders glue, but are there other glues that will work? Can't wait to get mine.

I'll probably stick to 2S with the 9 x 4.7, 1500Kv BW. I've been using the TP 325 45C packs. My orange flame Yak is 182g (6.32oz) with those packs. Tremendous packs, very little voltage depression and 5C charge rate. All my foamies are sized around 2S packs, I'd rather not have to invest in 3S packs if I don't need to.

If you're offering different color options let me know before you ship mine.

These planes come already hinged and hinges glued. As well as having the carbon fiber glued in the wings. These are being sold as a painted short kit, which includes all the carbon and components for the control rods as well. The only other glue besides welder that I would recommend for assembling the plane is Loctite Stick N Seal Extreme conditions.

I will be offering all the standard paint colors. I just haven't had time to paint a bunch up for pictures. When I was developing the colors for the yak I let it be customer driven, I will do the same here, as they roll out I will take some pictures and add them to the site selections. Let me know what color combo you want and we will get her done. As far as 2 cell vs 3 cell I think it will fly fine on your setup.

Do you recommend the one HXT900 for the ailerons?

I like separate servos, but judging by the size it would probably be too much huh?

GM,

This looks great! I recently placed my first order with you and was very pleased with the results, so I am anxious to try this out.

Can you tell us a little about the test flights? Differences between this, the Yak55, Yedge, Vector??

I don't post much but follow several threads religiously, this will be one of them!

Thanks,
Dave
