Just trying to get a nut.

I'm a bit clobbered with school at the moment...I should make it to "out of area" fly ins in a couple of months, when things settle out. Until then, I think I'm going to have to steal early morning sessions close by...probably at Tidelands or Crosby St Park. I'm going to check them out this weekend. If all seems in order, maybe some flight ops soon...

BTW, where can I get a HAM license here in SD?

I checked out the Crosby Street Park. It is doable, probably won't be much fun getting a plane out and back in from there. It's just too small and has too many obstacles.

I'm going to check out the park in Coronado and South Bay this weekend.

I flew here over this weekend...

I flew in "Bayside Park" in Chula Vista to test my plane earlier.

My university group is going to be in San Diego Friday and Saturday this week. I'll be bringing my FPV wing, in addition to the regular slope wings my group will be bringing. I'm looking at shooting for flying at Torrey Pines, based on the video. Anything we will need to know? Wouldn't mind if a meet were to come about as well.

I haven't flown in Torrey Pines since that video...

I now fly at SEFSD in Mission Bay.

What time will you be around...I'll see if I can make it.
