any feed back on Kokam 1200hd

Just wondering about how these are working out, I notice the LHS's are starting to carry them, So far I have only used E-tecs and Thuder power cells, both of which have been very good. A lot of people at the field ask me about cells and I tell them about the diff brands but I do not make any recommendations unless I have tried them out.

So far, no problems at 45amps with my 4s5p pack on my Graupner Extra 300S application. I have recently switched to 55amps on a 5s5p pack and a 15x10 prop but haven't flown it yet.

My Wipa Firecat application draws 35amps on a 3s4p pack. So far, only the AXI motor has blown out.

I am in the process of switching to the 2820/12 to reduce motor abuse a bit.

My experience with 3s packs of both Kokam and E-Tec 1200s pretty much follows what is said on the page in the thread DNA links us to.

My application draws just under 5A at full throttle, so is only 4C for either of these cells. The Kokam 1200s have an intial higher burst of power, but then fade to below what the ETs give, and they do not deliver usable power as long (I see 10-15% lower flight times with the Kokams).

The Kokam 1200s do deliver noticeably better than the 1020s, however.
