Umi I did not need a reverse feature to get anyone's goat. Most of the runners were into 25 pts by first round, lost a few more on second pass, down to 6 for third round, never needed time to break ties.
First Al Kinsman
Second Aerominded
Third G. Desousa
Fourth D. Pillado (NEW Guy)
Fifth Ahkneenah

September 26th - Annual Navigator Rebatta!

Srry about running late this time... but I will get some more posted soon.

If you like Vspeed's model of San Francisco (Police Dept.) Marine 1, a conversion of the Pro Boat USCG 47 Motor Lifeboat, his build thread is here.

Anyway, as most everyone else has said, it was a beautiful day at Spreckels Lake! The sun was out early and the weather was warm to hot under a clear 'bald-headed' sky with light breezes!! Couldn't ask for better. I got to The Lake about 11:30 or so to shoot the boats and participants after helping some friends set up a large booth at a local street faire that morning.

By the time I got to The Lake there were only one or two more boats to run and then it was free run time. The results are above, posted by CaptLee. The regatta was also the shake down event for a new lens. Overall I'm pleased with the results but, as with any new gear, there are learning curves. *sigh* So between shooting the regatta and having to get back to the street faire around 2:30 that day, no run time for me...

Hog... I have some good shots of the Bristol Kit-bash. I'll post some of them for you as well.

Bistol Bash pictures for Hoghappy.

Hey Hoghappy...

Here are some pics of the "Bristol bash" you wanted to see more of from last weekend....

If you need more or larger images with better detail, PM me. These have lost significant detail when they were reduced in size to fit on RC/Gs.

Was really great to meet you, Vspeeds! Hope to see you at future SFMYC events!

Ok, so I'm a little slow on the draw... with a handle like "vspeeds", I have to guess you are a pilot?

Yes but I took a totally different career path and haven't flown much since we had kids.

Stumbled on this event when I was running my Wooden Mono Saturday, stayed at the park because it was a beautiful day and saw Ken setting up course for Sunday. Came back Sunday for event and had a really great time...can't wait for Wooden Boats Regatta.
