2011 income tax ... see what you'll owe ...

http://mytaxburden.org/

we'll be owing 6,740 dollars more after the tax cuts expire. Hopefully Congress will pass Obama's proposed changes to keep all of the Bush tax cuts for people making less than 250K ... which "shouldn't" be an issue considering the Dems hold the majority on both houses ...

According to the site, if the cuts expire, my tax bill will go up about 2,500 bucks. No new taxes eh?

However, if the Obama proposal goes in (as it shows in the rightmost column), they will be less than if they just renew the Bush cuts. By about 800 bucks.

That's a nice form for gathering personal information from those that stop by. I don't suppose there's an IRS form, or schedule or link?

Inputting all the relevant information, all that comes up for me is: "You're Screwed". I'll now pay more in taxes than I used to make as an entire years salary about 15 years ago.

They should extend the tax cuts for everyone regardless of income.

Gosh, pete, why not post the effect of his *actual* policies, and not his 'proposed' tax policies?

Of course, at least one person did. But you'd have to read the thread to see that...

The third column representing the proposed Obama amendments to the budget have yet to be voted on.

If the Bush tax cuts expire my taxes go up about 5k. They also increase under Obama. I thought they weren't suppose to increase by a single dime since I don't make 250k.
