Pitts Challenger - G62 - 22x10 Zinger prop - Maiden tomorrow

Taking this baby up tomorrow. It's been a long trip getting this all ready to fly. Pretty heavy 23 lb setup, nine servos, Zenoah G62, B&B Pitts muffler with smoke, Spektrum AR9100, 2S 3200 LiPo with UBEC for power.

Hoping to report success after it's maidened tomorrow.

29% Christen Eagle comes next, then Mick Reeves 1/6 scale Spitfire.

Nice looking Bipe there, JustGoFly. What kit/plan is it built off? I'm not likely to build one this size in the near future, but the Pitts challenger is a nice looking plane!

hope that your Maiden flight went well, my maiden of a .90 size extra 330L went well 2 weeks ago, talk about an aerobatic pussycat! Does every maneuver easily and lands slow!

Good Luck and clear skies!

Enjoy and thanks for the kind reply.

Notice the inverted flight near end of video - she climbed inverted, so tail heavy setup - even with that huge G62 up front. Could account for a little jumpiness on some of the flybys. I bought from a guy who bought from a guy, so no idea who's kit, but build very strong and HEAVY. The G62 does a very good job of running. I installed a spring starter which turned it from a very difficult engine to start to a dream ! Get it wet and flip once backwards and you're running - very reliable engine.

Glad that your maiden went well, a bit of playing around with the CG, and she will fly as well as it looks. Thanks for the video!
