Post your small flying field video here!

I posted in the wrong section so I am now posting this thread where it belongs!

How small is your flying field and how hard is it to take off or land there???
Post your videos here.
I thought I would start a thread where all can post videos of their backyard runways or other tight spots they fly in and out of, unusual places, even if a camera is not mounted on the plane.

Let's see what kind of wild situations we get into!
I already have planned some sort of arresting net to be used in spots with absolutly no space to land, using soft mesh used to protect fruit trees or such.
May be I should build a tricopter instead! I probably will.

This should be fun, let's see where you fly!
Bloopers welcome!

I'll post the first video:
The airplane is a modded Slowstick with the wing covered on the bottom, maintaining some undercamber, 2409-18T motor, 1800 3s lipo.
Modified wing, Heavy duty aluminum landing gear/camera mount for the GOPRO HD.

Nice thread idea!
Here is my yard. Trees on all sides but its not that big of a problem with my Yak 55.
Yak 55 around the house

Heres a video I made before I got more serious about aerial videos. Its not at all a small field, but a great place to fly from.

Thanks for posting.
Street flying is what its all about, thanks to electric power and light planes!

J3 CUB, The yak video, hovering over the fish pond is awsome!

I wish I could do a rolling circle like you do!
How long did it take you to learn?

I have a Slowfly 28, , Ms composite Unique, an Icarus shockflyer I have to put together and a couple others of my design.

The radian video was well put together.
Thanks again for posting.

Lafayette.

Tim, if I had to fly there, I'd have to give up flying! (sigh)

I cannot wait for the fall and the winter here in the mountains of NC. Should make for some beautiful videos.

Flying on snow is so cool.

Thanks for the nice comment! I've been flying for almost four years. I just started flying indoor foamies like the Yak about a year ago. Its alot of fun because the foamies can do pretty much anything. Thanks again.

Compared with Tim's place, I have all sorts of room! Interesting nonetheless.

I started flying around 17 years ago and would have quit had it not been for the development of cheap, light, electrics. The hassle of gassers would have made it impossible to fly where I live. With electrics you can have a field almost anywhere if you stick with the park flyers. Not all of my electrics are small field compatible but enough are that I always have something I can fly around here somewhere. And the inertia is so small that you can really twist them into knots

Squeaking a tank between buildings

This place would be huge for some but not for the tank I was flying that day!
Next time I will be using a "Exposure" for this kind of place.
AP china landing (0 min 29 sec)

Oh and it had been 5 years since I had flown before this flight.
