Alright, so i will be using the h stab for the two halves of the v-tail. V-tails need more area than a normal tail becuase they are offset by 45 degrees, to make up for this i will be placing the v-tail much farther back, i plan to have the hinge of the tail to be at the same place the fuselage ends, hopefully this gives me the leverage to make up for a less effective tail and surfaces.

Just bought the T-28 and a DX8. I'm a newbie and have been flying the champ and using a Sim for about 3-4 weeks. What's a good dR and expo to use?

You can download the "factory recomnded" settings for most of their planes for your DX8 from Horizon's site.

If I remember well I have dual rates about 80% on all surfaces and no expo. Be careful, the T28 is really fast, especially coming from a Champ or J-3 Cub! This is one of the things that makes it so funny to fly

I flew about 5 flights with the trojan but I had to use max right trimming on the ailerions. How do you adjust the rods manually to attempt to center my trimming on my dx8. Do i try to bend them near the 90 degree bend by the fuselage?

Yes. That's one reason I bought one.

Not bad other then the trimming. But once I sorted that out. Everything was go to go. Set DR 80% / Expo 20 and flys great. Yes, my first 4 channel.
