Nothing like the out of the box looks. This plane is meant to fly and I've found it to be very durable if flown over grass. Only dings I've put in is landing too hurriedly and steep, drives the prop into the cowl. Fly it.

It was my first plane, after flying some UM helis and the sim, including planes on the sim. I replaced the fuselage not too long ago as it was pretty beat up from learning.

What batteries are you using?

From what I can tell, those are as good as the Thunder Power 160 25C, but a whole lot cheaper.

Did it come with the plane?

The E-flight 150 25C is my best battery. I've have ThunderPower, Hyperion and some "generic ones". Only the E-flight has survived the test of many flights.

That's great, Medic.

Box probably says 12C too, like the latest Sukhoi that I bought. It also came with a 150mAh 25C battery. That's a real bonus; the 12C battery is not worth using.

These work for me.....................both are 25C rated, but the Hyperion is the better of the two.

I'm happy to use a Hyperion 240 batt, but I"m going to have to carve out the compartment a bit more forward. I've checked CG and have the 240 in what I consider the "proper" spot but after a few flights I'd like to move it forward as I feel the plane is a bit tail heavy. Funny how you get a feel for the plane after so many flights and I'm just not comfortable flying unless the battery is in just the right position. The T-28 is so much more forgiving as far as left and right balance compared to my UMX Beast 3-D which has to be absolutely perfect left and right or it just drifts off one way or the other in slow flight.
