You maybe right, but it looks like most typical ones would work, that or the zip tie

I cheat and remove the blades then lay a long rod inside the blade grip and set it level

The problem with the zip tie is that you can only level the swash at 0 pitch. On the v450 I think there is not enough room for the zip tie to level swash at full positive and negative also.

I got a universal leveler with different shaft modules and adjustable legs and it works well.

Cyclic problem at top/bottom pitch

Hello everybody.
I'd like to know if anybody found this problem on this rx-2702v (3axis gyro).
After setup correctly terminates, everything is well, but not the cyclic
travel at full top and bottom of pitch.
In that condition cyclic is somehow limited and cannot do full extension,
like at center pitch.

I found also a trick at this forum :

http://www.heliguy.com/Forum/viewtop...95.html#467295
(heli is t-rex, but it is the same)

that claims to resolve the problem, but in spite of following step
by step the instructions, I'm still affected by this problem.

Anybody that has a rx2702v can check if this always happens ?
Is there any way to resolve the issue ?

Thanks

dado

Re calibrate Rx with Swash Mix all set to 100%. Then after calibration put back to your normal settings.

How is the spare parts situation on this heli? Looking for a park flier for spur of the moment flies.

No problem.
It has been mentioned that you can run the swash mix past 100% for even more travel. I couldn't see much difference when I tried but I run 12-13 deg pitch which this Rx wasn't really designed for anyway. The swash travel is fine in the middle usable part so I live with it.

Just glad it helped with your frustration because I've been there.

Before heading out to fly tonight I went through all the screws on her. Didn't even put hardly an pressure on this ball and it snapped right off. This is the first time I've tightened it after having done a handful of sport flights. Will have to check my parts bin and see if I have a ball that will fit. The hard part for me will be getting the rest of the threaded piece that's broke off inside out without jacking up the swash. Suggestions?

Bummer... :-(

I suppose good thing that didn't break while in the air....

I don't know if they make EZ-outs that small Maybe try a small dab of super glue on the end of a Allen key small enough to fit in. However be care full to not use too much as you don't want it to ooze and glue the broken piece in, other wise it would be FUBAR.

I ended up ordering one from hobbypartz.com as they have free shipping. Cheap swash to replace at $17
