Help!

Dymond servos in South Africa

Hello all.
I'm sorry to post a region specific question but I'm hoping there are some South Africans out there that have better contacts than I have. I'm in the final stages of building a Supergee II and have not been able to source a Dymond supplier locally. I'm specifically looking for the D60 servos for the wings. Please, if anyone has any information, I would be very glad to hear from you.

Thanks and regards

Mark

Mark,

why not ordering direct at Staufenbiel in Germany? I'm sure they will send to South-Africa too. Take a look at:

click

If there are any problems with them let me know and I will try to interfere.

Or if you want to go digital with a servo of about the same size but better quality try an Airtronics/Sanwa 94802. I will ship to South Africa.

Thanks Mark. I'll bear that in mind but I've ordered from Dymond. Interested in the quality claim - must look into that.

Yep, and they're sold in Europe under another name -- Ripmax, I believe.

Still, Mark is right. The D60 used to be the only servo in this size, but the Hyperion and Airtronics servos available now are better choices.

Yes Lenny, Time marches on and things improve. D-60's are so 2007. Digital is the way to go these days.

Mark,

I'm glad to hear that. If anything goes wrong please ask me or Mr. Trier direct at Staufenbiel. Say him best regards from me. He is a long-time friend of me.
