No you can't, I believe the arm extension are different length, the new part number is HM-V120D02-Z-05 Swashplate
They have been ordered some time ago and will be arriving in our warehouse in about 2 weeks.

so if this rx is 2801 compatible, it will use the curves like were used to in 2801, or is it still those gyrpat settings. Also is flybarless needed or can you still use a flybar for a 4g6

If it is indeed 2801 compatible (and it works like the 4F200 Rx) then yes all of the curves and other adjustments are available. The only one that isn't is the swash mix since you have to use the 1 servo option in swash type. However, you can adjust that with a combination of servo extent, travel and pitch curve.

I knew my patience would pay off, this looks like the RX we were all hoping for a few months ago! I might just get the whole heli though, looks sweet, and I just put a stay-true head on my G6 last night.

The main blades are the same size as the 4G6 (except for the color and pattern) but the tail blades are slightly larger. The tail blades are the same size as the V120D01 fixed pitch flybarless. Apparently bigger tail blades are required to stabilize the flybarless helis which applies to the V120D02. I had to jump through a lot of hoops to get this information so "Not much of a review" comment is very discouraging to me. Hope guys here can keep up with positive comments so we can all encourage each other to work harder.

Cheers,

Hi Jonathan,

Don't worry. We will all buy either the VooDoo2 RTF, BNF, or upgrades from you anyway...... That is, as soon as they arrive

+1.

Not only you do a good job keeping us posted of recent activities, but someone did a good job displaying technical/helpful information at the WowHobbies.com website.

Thanks

Inverted Airfield
I can't wait to upgrade all three of my 4G6S's to V120D02's. Two of them are already flybarless via aftermarket parts. They aren't as stable as I had hoped, but boy do they flip fast. It will be nice to bring them back to stock and improve their stability. I think it will be tough to make any further improvements on the V120D02. It may be the ultimate micro heli. Maybe the addition of endpoint adjustments is the only improvement left-and of course more powerful motors.
Keep up the great work,
andy

That's the plan Dan. Walkera has some parts delay in building the 3-axis receiver. Chips in the receiver are controlled by US silicone valley and they are rationing them with price increase. The V120D02 delivery date has been delayed for a few days. The new release date in China is Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. We are planing on receiving them on Friday 8/6 and ship them out the same day to our customers. I will keep everybody posted how Walkera is progressing on this model.

Cheers,
Jonathan

That post was suppose to say "when" are we going to see a video. I really like to watch the videos of Manny throwing these helis around. I can't actually do any of the stuff he does, but it's nice to see what they are capable of none the less.

Manny has been working double over time but it is on his business, LOL. It's good to hear that somebody is doing well in this economy. He should have some time next week. We will let him start out with the 4F200 video first. Can't wait to see what he can do with it.
