I have used a fox 700 and a LM1W with GPS's; no problems and very fast locks, under a minute usually.. Just plan to space them out if possible. Mine are 24" apart sincce gps is near nose and vtx is near tail of my easy star.

I fly with them both a lot. The only issue I ever have is if the Vtx is near a PPM rx on the plane it can glitch them badly. lesson learned, put the RX near the tail or out on a wing (so the antenna wont pass by the vtx) and put the vetx far away elsewhere.

But, with a PCM rx I never had much problems and flew to a mile or so with them 8" apart.

None whatsoever I've done 2 miles with the rp8d1 and the 400mw 1.2Ghz sunsky and the rc signal still felt solid. Like the above post said, you will get glitches if the setup of the 1.2Ghz tx and rx 72mhz are close but that's something you'll be able to see with some basic ground range testing.

Hi,

Has anyone had problems with 1.2Ghz video and 2.4Ghz controlled for short (below 400meters radius) distance multi-rotors flights?
Thanks.

Thanks

Hello!
Can anyone tell me the difference between these two low pass filter, and which would be better to reduce RF interference on LawMate 1.2 GHz Tx since I have a 2.4 RC. Will any of these two give me reduced interference to GPS. The difference in price is not small ...

So for me that i am trying to get the best out of my Sunsky 800mW unit to make it fly in a 2.4GHz polluted environment in combination with EZosd GPS and Dragonlink what would your advice be?.
Is it possible all together?

Cheers,
Teo

You can't take the sky from me

teopbako: I live in capital city, so the radio pollution here very heavy. There is no way to use omni antenna, range may be limited to about 500 meters. Patch antenna can give you reasonable range, I would recommend to use both patch and yagi antenna with diversity. You can't try to catch world distance records in such areas, but even 4km in such areas is very nice...

Very, very nice.
4Km in that field is more than i would expect. For long range i know where i have to go.

The one from AGL will reduce interference to both GPS and 2.4 Ghz. The DPCAV unit will only reduce interference to 2.4 Ghz. (I am the designer of the AGL unit).

And heres a few internal pics:

So, is this a score by entry level FPV??? PSST... I'm new to the FPV scene
