Does anyone fly on the Southside of Atlanta other than Henry County. I flew a couple of times in Hampton,Ga. by a park with a huge field on McDonough Rd. But never see any flyers out there.

for anyone who flies noonday park it looks like its shut down until august 13th due to reseed and resod....though the field Avenger posted is less than 5 miles down the road and has been working as a great alternative

Flying this weekend?

So who is planning on flying at the field on 92 and Woodstock road this weekend? I'll be there late this afternoon if it's not raining, otherwise I'll be there in the morning.

I'm thinking we should give it a name. "new Dustbowl" doesn't seem right because there really is no dust.

Since it is somewhat directly in between Woodstock and Acworth, I have a few suggestions:

"Ac-stock field"

"Wood-worth field"

If nobody is flying there, then where is the new "hot field" these days? This hobby is as much a social gathering as well as flying our birds.
