Help!

Future Hobbies 1.3 GHz Tx - voltage level and channel selection

Hello!

I recently bought a 1.3 GHz Tx/Rx set from Future Hobbies.
http://www.futurehobbies.com/products/details/210/25/transmitter-&-receiver-sets/1-3ghz-transmitter-&-receivers-sets/500mw-rx/-tx-set-[1-3ghz]

Seems like a good set, got a rubber duck antenna with the Tx.

But I have two problems:
There was no documentation following the set, and therefore I have no idea how to change channels on the Tx or what voltage it requires! - I tried looking at the help pages on FH, but I could only find wire diagrams, no specs.
In the picture in the link there seems to be some kind of plug attached to the pins next to the antenna connector on the Tx, but I didn't recieve anything like that.

I know the Rx uses 12V, but I'm afraid that the Tx uses 5V.
(I think it uses 12v, but I wont connect it to anything until I'm sure about it ).

Is there anyone here who knows the voltage requirements of and how to change channels on the Future Hobbies 1.3 GHz 500 mW transmitter?

That is the same as Bestofferbuy.com 700mw FOX transceiver.

http://www.bestofferbuy.com/av-wirel...o-p-15758.html

But there is one different, you paid twice
OOHHH , Ifound you did not get the power adapter too, the BOB FOX system comes with two switching 12V power adapter+ better quality antenna+ usermanual
Here is the user-manual

Will it work on a 3S 11.1V Li-Po?

Thats what you need, it will work great with a 3S 11.1V.
The transmitter is very low noise sensitive, I mean normally must use an separated battery for video TX but this one you can use the same battery that you are using for your brushless power system.
Its recommended to use the balance port of battery to power up the TX.

Thank you, finally I can start soldering up!
What du you mean by connecting to the balance port? - How would I do that?
But I use a seperate battery anyways!

If you are using a single battery then you can make a connector like that one use on balance charger and connect the video system to the balance charge port of battery.
If you are using separated batt then no need to connect the balance connector.
