Been there, done that although not with my Wildcat. Were you aiming to score a goal or just got too close? We really want a nice slow flying plane for goal scoring practice. Here's my, also departed, Fokker D V11 thrashing my brother who did manage to hit the post.
Fokker D.VII scores hat trick (3 min 25 sec)

I know some of the scale guys are going to cringe at what I've done but I've turned my Wildcat into a Wildtiger.

Wanted to be able to see it better and didn't want to just paint it orange.

What do you think?

The Cat is hard to see in it's war time gray/blue (by design,) so I went with the pre war yellow wing, and it is much easier to see in the sky. Even a few hundered feet up the wings show up against the blue sky.

Mine is a year old, and I haven't flown it in a while so I took it out over the weekend and it is still a fun little plane.

I need to paint mine orange, it just goes so fast, and has so much thrust that even on a clear day I can lose it pretty easily.

Looks great, but would be even better if you paint the canopy.

Here's my Wildcat contribution

F4F Wildcat Upgraded

Parkzone F4F Wildcat with new paint scheme the original color was too hard to see inflight. The new paint job made the plane a little heavy for the stock motor so I upgraded it with a Power up 480 plus motor, 40amp ESC and a 10x7 APC prop with a 2200 mah battery. Great vertical I really like this plane now! The new name is "YELLACAT"

Here you go https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...1556994&pp=100
Over 6000 posts since Dec11 so I would read the first few posts for the most up to date info. Tom Franks keeps these initial posts up to date to avoid the same old questions.
There is also a #11 HD Keycam which is still available and has an active thread as well. However the #16 is regarded as being a superior version.
You decide from this video. View on Youtube for the description
