Windwarrior, this is an old fiberglass Dumas, they do not make them anymore, so if someone wanted one, this is the only way you could get it. Not sure what it was new, but those old fiberglass dumas usually sell fairly well, although I think this is a bit high. There are 2 fiberglass darbys on there right now that I would rather have.

Do what I do... use your Mental age not your physical age.

I may be getting older, there's nothing I can do about that. But I refuse to Grow Up!

Half built CC

That would be high money, even if it was finished, and had basic r/c installed. I GAVE the last one I had, in about the same condition, away. I also had the box with all the as yet unused parts. It takes a skilled, and DEVOTED, modeler, to do the kit justice. I have see several finished models, I would love to own. CaptCB

Couple of good deals on books....

The Fredericks book is a good addition to any builders library
and at $20 is one heck of a deal. ($25.68 incl shipping) It is still out of print last I checked.

There are also two copies of Coker's Building Warship Models under $30. With lavish photography and drawings taken from the ultra-rare Japanese publication Scale Model Warships by Izumi, Building Warship Models was a sought after volume...
