Electric motors. 2x Brushless OutRunner 1150kv High Torque Motors. It came with the kit. All electronics is stock except for one. I replaced the nose gear retract servo cause it stripped in the first minute of operation. More specs here: http://www.bananahobby.com/1944.html

That's neat, thanks for including the link, i'll have to add it to my wish list. A little worried how it will go with takeoff and landing on a grass strip like where I fly.

Happy to report the first flight went well. I waited for awhile because it got soo hot here in AZ. I checked and double check the C.G. The first flight required a little up trim as it wanted to nose down (maybe i was nose heavy a little) after a few rounds got it tamed down to comfortable level. not much on aileron trim (maybe 1 or 2 clicks). I flew the first battery with the gear down. Landing was a piece of cake. I did 4 minutes on the first batt and 5 minutes on the second. I figured out later when charging my battery that I did not get soo much out so I will be increasing the next flights to 6 min. Very nice flight characteristics. Im happy with my investment.
