I don't know of any AutoCAD airplane drawing on the web in DWG format. You
can find quite a bit as DXF format. I have to look in my archives for them.

Check ebay, occassionally some guy sells a CD full of CAD plans, that I'm
sure he downloaded from the internet. It's well worth the money,
considering you don't have to spend hours searching.

Normen,

You can rephrase that to read, "that he PLAGARIZED from the internet, and in
particular, from Guy Fuller's fantastic "Starcad" site... It's AHs like him
that modelers have to thank for the demise of Starcad...

Many wonderful plans were there for the FREE use of all, and a few prime
SOBs like this eBay AH ruined it for all..

Starcad was the BEST plans site the net EVER had to offer. The plans were
all cean and proper, with full designer's credit...

Oh, there's places on the web to get plans, but if you dig, you'll find the
majority were boosted from Starcad.

I saw a mirror for StarCAD plans a while back...all the plans seemed intact
but I forgot the URL. Here's some:

http://www.geocities.com/pitviper1977/
http://rf-hp.npi.msu.su/~vasya/RC/index.htm

Hope this gets you in the right direction.

P.S. The AH in the Soviet Union is a thief and a total jerk. Not only did
he steal design but also original copyrighted artwork and photos. Funny
part is most of the designs from his site will not work in a regular CAD
system and he hasn't figured that out yet.

Re: Where to download AUTOcad airplane drawings ??

Very true. I do miss the original StarCad site. I dl'ed a bunch of the
plans just for design principles mostly but figured I could build some of
the planes but time is too precious now and ARF's have coma a long way.

I did build some of my own designs way back when but now, Coroplast
seems to be the best material to test new ideas.
