A LHS has them for at least a couple of months. I saw one when I went there to (a) grab a 5G6 for my gf and (b) wanted to take a look at the larger Walkera helis (UFLY, Creata 400, Hiko 400) to get one for the outdoor season. So it might be the newest larger CP heli, but not the newest model at all.
MMMMH, carbon fibre parts. (I went out with only the 5G6, the UFLYs wasn't available, and as much as I liked the looks of the Creata 400 and the tech of the Hiko 400, I figured that it'll be better off with the UFLY, it will be a while until I'll think about trying some fancy 3D stuff) |

The fiber frame looks like an improvement from the Walkera 60. I am still flying one of those (using a Trex 450 head). I hope Walkera updated the servo mounts so it can fit Hitec HS65 servos.
The trouble is that 450 clones are so cheap now - They are probably better value than a Walkera 400 size heli. I still have doubts about the quality of the walkera electronics, so once you buy proper radio gear the cost will add up. |

I think it depends what you want.. if you have a good place to fly a larger heli in safety, then a 450 size clone is probably the best way to go. For a smaller machine the king V3 looks like decent package but I can't comment about the quality of the radio gear.
I like the size of the Walkera 60 / Creta 400 / Hiko 400. The layout is quite decent but it can require a bit of work for disassembly/repairs. |

That being said if you really want a Walkera 450 size CP heli you might want to hold out for the new V450D01. It's an actual 450, has a 3 axis gyro and is flybarless. If it's anything like the 120/200 size helis from the same family then it should be pretty good, as those two have already got good reviews. Dan |

Like I said, I may experiment with switching out Rx's and see how that works. I like the specs and setup of the new one, just want it a little bigger. I have 2 1#A's, a Hiko, and 2 59#DQ's. They are good size helis for me. AB |
