Pittman Boatmaster Motors

I have 2 Pittman Boatmaster Motors. Both work great!! Do they have any value?? They are in good shape too.

One is a model 9002B, 3 to 6V
The other is a 9003, 3 to 6 volts

Anyone who has any info, your wisdom is appreciated.

I haven't heard the term "Boatmaster" attached to a Pittman motor in many years, probably not since the 1960's or '70's.

These can now be called vintage---.

Unless you are a collector, ya just feel guilty about tossing the original box into the recycle.

I know nothing other than the green one is "cute" and would look great in a classic build... I like it-

Thanks woodybob

Thanks for the ebay info! Helps. I want to try to sell on RC Groups first. Then Try ebay, as I might get 50 cents once I pay ebay and ship....

I picked up several 6v Pittmans several years ago, but have yet to find a home for them.

Nicely made, 1/8" shaft, low current draw.

I am with Areo, as either would look and most likely function perfect in a vintage looking boat.

Pittman Boatmaster Motors

I haven't heard anyone mention a 12volt square body version. I purchased 2 of them new back in 1962, but only one original box remains. I've checked no load speed @3400rpm, 2-3amps @ 12 volts. They were made in Mt. Wolf, Pa.
Would like to talk to anyone familiar with this model 10005.
Any idea what they are worth, possibly to a collector?
