Yep... Spent MY evening glued to Eyes on the Solar System and NASA/JPL. What an outstanding accomplishment!

Congratulations to everybody who contributed to making this happen, and making it such a perfect landing. Couldn't have asked for better!

I, too, spend most of the night watching the whole thing. It cut into my bedtime, but that's OK.

I find it to be so amazing that we can hurl a large object 352 million miles through space, and land with pinpoint accuracy on another planet. Not only that, but having everything go perfectly on such a complicated entry/landing procedure just blows my mind. Geez, going from over 13,000 mph to 0mph in just a few minutes! And to top it all off, pictures were coming back to us a minute after landing.

Stunning. Absolutely stunning!

NASA once again proves they have a collection of the most brilliant minds in the world, leaving the rest of us speechless and awestruck...

And they canceled the space program why?!?!?

They cancelled it because that 1 penny out of every 2 dollars of government spending was breaking us.
