Observation

As I go through these old kits I am surprised by the very poor quality of the lumber. I built those kits back in the 50s and I don't remember the wood being so bad. But I was just a teenager then and what do they know.

Perhaps the kits with good wood were more likely to get built, and the ones with the oak more likely to be put away?
