+1 for the Culver Cadet, my wife's grandfather used to own a full scale cadet and has been searching for a kit or plans for a long time now...

Interesting fuselage construction on the Sentinel an inside keel & former. Looking at old plans is kind of addictive.

PD1, excellant scan!
Your Stinson Sentinel drawing is so pretty that that I couldn't resist working on it. Here is another way to reduce file sizes that contain photos. The main drawing has been changed to monochrome TIF file. The photos have been removed and then changed to a 150 dpi JPG file and then added back as a seperate page. I hope that you dont mind that I changed is a bit. Please excuse my spelling of dpi in the attachment.

H.J. Towner

Was there a kit manufacturer who traded as 'Astral'....?

I do not know of them but apparently they did a good selection of rubber powered scale twin engined aircraft designed by H.J. Towner.

These were of around 36" span or so and included the Airspeed Envoy and Oxford, Avro Anson, Vickers Viking, Hudson, Wellington and many more.

If anyone has any of these, I can imagine that they would make good electric twins.

The name H.J. Towner rings a distant bell and from what I remember he was a prolific scale designer in his day.....it would be great to see some of his designs if they are still about.

Bridon.
