As algy seems to be doing a good job posting Aeromodeller plans over on the FF plans thread and he has more AM`s than me I shal lcontinue with the more obscure MA. plans.

Model Aircraft December 1955

Bambinetta 21" span F/F another Ray Malmstrom design

Incentive 45" span 1cc PAA-load

Model Aircraft February 1956

Bipalo 28" span F/F sport biplane

D.H.110 38" span Scale C/L stunt

Nimbus 30" span class B team racer C/L

hlsat has posted some new (to me anyway) Berkley and FSI plans over on the Hippocket site.

I don't think the Red Zephyr has been posted, but the way to look is to go to the first post in this thread, click on http://www.outerzone.co.uk/vinplandex/ and enter the name you are looking for. Posts, page and post numbers for any found are then displayed.

50+ posted this under zephyr in two parts https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...postcount=3935

it is an modified version for R/C

Probably easier to down load from outerzone

By the way always search the Outerzone index as well as the vinplandex. The vinplandex only index`s this thread and exactly as listed normally. Outerzone does not have every plan from this thread but does have most and many from other sources and the nameing is normally more accurate. There is also the Hippocket site and the search facility there is very good also.

Kloud King as a PDF, a TIF file is available if anyone prefers that format.
Zipping the file overcomes the 3.00Mb limit for PDFs

Ben Shereshaw's Mercury.

Tried to build this one but it was destroyed before it was even finished.

Must try again one day - I still have the wing ribs and a fin rudder unit.

The 1/2A Record breaker also suffered the same fate.

I've noticed the recent postings of plans originally redrawn for and originally published in Model Builder Magazine...plans that are still available through the former owner/editor of that magazine. I know that the rights to the designs are probably in the public domain, but what about Phil Bernhardt's artwork that constitutes the re-drawn plan? I'm pretty sure that if one were to post a "Ben Buckle" oldtimer plan, for example, they (or the Webmaster) would be hearing from that company's lawyers.

I'm not trying to be the "Plan Police" here, just trying to get a clarification from the mods so that we don't draw any unwanted attention to this resource.

Model Builder plans are still available? I thought the only source was the DVD set of all MBs that Roland Fiestadt puts out.

Info question that plan restorers may be able to answer. I have original company Blueprints of some very nice vessels I worked on years ago. They are all original working plans. One of a kind. I intercepted all of them before the were trashed.

I would like to copy all of them into B&W plans so they could be used for modeling. How do I go about converting original Real Blue colored drafting prints to B&W plans? Is there an imformative website? This seems like making a negative into a positive. I will not send these out anywhere other than a museum right now.
Thanks,
**Neons** Bob

I just Googled "model builder, plans" and it was the 4th or 5th hit I received.

I think Northrop is running the plan service out of his home as a "retirement/pin money" sort of thing...I doubt he relies on it to pay his mortgage. If one has access to the DVD's and some basic graphic skills, they would also have access to M-B's 25-year plan library as well. Quite a bargain, IMHO.

Most image editing programs have a function to "Invert Colors".

WMD has a tutorial for Photoshop.

I'm back. Work caught up with me a bit, and will also keep me busy for the weekend.

Here is a Brewster XSBA 1 from January 1939 Flying Aces By Nick Limber (With all of the information int he title, I hope)

I also just got a few more old Flying Aces magazines, and have even more on the way! This is gonna be fun! I will finish up with the reprints, and then put on the white gloves and scan some old plans.
