Raymond, I felt the same way but decided to get the quad first, then sell the 120SR later if I still wanted to.

As a very natural bridge between a living room coax and the Crash-o-Matic, a Blade mQX uses the same radio and batteries, but actually stays in flight as long as I want it to.

Compare a nervous 13-second hover (followed by a crazed right-hand plunge into the nearest pavement) with several luxurious minutes of flying, experimenting and learning - even in a breeze.

I've actually learned a LOT about flying helos in the past few weeks. It's all about intepreting visual cues, and building automatic instincts and thumb reactions. Something I'm capable of learning in consecutive whole minutes, not a few scant moments between repairs.

Now, suddenly the 120SR is a lot more manageble, a refreshing change. Maybe try both birds and see what happens.

It might be a daft question, but is there a right and wrong way to put on the 328 tail blades, as I know the stock blades had an X to face the motor.............

There is only one way,,,,look at the curvature of the blade.

The "X" on the stock rotor faces the motor. You can compare the pitch of the two rotors to see which way the 328 should face. EDIT: You could write "L" on the side facing the motor for future reference.

Helis and Planes
Apparently the 120 can be looped. But only with mods.

E-flite Blade 120SR - stunt flight (3 min 6 sec)

I know I am not going to try.

120SR Flybar

Has anyone used the Rakon CF flybar? Most importantly, is it lighter than the stock flybar? I've read that lighting the flybar helps cut down pendulum and sway effect. I may order a spare stock flybar to cut down but I was wondering if the CF one was lighter?

Thanks.

I have a DX8 on the way is there any links or info on a good mix setting for the SR120?

Also mine with the cheap stock tx wants to always creep backward. I have the elevator trimmed to the max and it still wants to do this. In short I think I might need to adjust the linkage to solve this problem. any thoughts?
Thanks

Thanks north! I have centered the trim on the tx now if the wind will die down a bit I can test it outside and see how the bird flys with the adjusted linkage

anyone familiar with slot cars around the 4.5 inch size? i believe they are 1/32nd scale but correct me if im wrong

anyways they have many sizes of brushed motors that would bolt right up by the looks of it

anyone tried anything besides the stock and xtreme motor?
