Q? IF and I mean IF you have the room, is the 120sr seam easier to control than a smaller heli like the MSR? Maybe I should say smoother. A person I was talking with asked about the size and how being (MSR) smaller it would seem more wild due to size to movement ratio.

I would prefer the mSR over the 120SR for indoors flight for one simple reason - less damages!

Of course, you could have the skill to tame an 120SR indoor, and many here have done so. But after all, the 120SR has bigger battery, motor, blades, mass, everything. When it hit something, it leaves a mark. Whereas the mSR, not as much.

Ya that was my thought. I think the guy (well my retired dad) was refureing to things like the size to movment ratio with turning and general flying. He may get the bug to get a heli. He has flown mine and he has acsess to a ball room when he is in AZ in the winters. He lives in a park model retirement comunity and is a snow bird. So don't have a lot of storage room but thinks the MSR would be to zippy for the small size for him to keep track of it. lol

All he has is a fire place in the ball room. I will have him fly my MSR (hope to have it ordered on Thur) this summer when he is back in WI and see how he likes it first.

I haven't tried these Nanos, but I have 6 similar batteries that I am about to adapt to fly. Actually, I'm hoping these work because I can use them on my planes, too.

Okay, I'm not making fun of anyone but me here, but if you are scared to fly your heli indoors, I would like to suggest getting one of these to practice:

The better question is, "When can we come over to join you in the ballroom????"

lol My dad is retired and lives at a RV comunity in Appache Junction AZ during the WI winters. They have a comunity ball room for the people that live there for parties and such.

This is amazing... Pete at Banana Hobby uses his DX6 in this video and he says that the DX6 is a museum piece. Starts at 2:48 minutes in.

(He also gives some tips on general flying of the J-3, but I'm only bring up the DX6 in relation to what we were talking about last week on this forum!)

Not the rotor, the fuse, the flybar, or the skids... and some non-stock upgrades. So, tell us. What exactly is still 120SR stock in that "120SR"?
