FLY FAST FLY HIGH

Correction that is a row of trees.Did you put the RC plane there?
The mountains I referred to are giving the AI planes a fit, trying to make them land on other end.

I just checked....the mountains peak at 3100' and the strip lies @ 800' a 2300' drop!
Too bad you couldn't draw a line on gps for them to follow!

When i'm trying to land a T-33 or bigger,
I usually begin my final to the NW of the tower on the mountain.
Like this......

Just measured...that makes a 4.5 mile final!
If you shorten to a 3 mile final you only have to clear 1800' !
Is 1000' in three miles too steep?
Mike.

Here are a couple of the AI T-33 and C-130 landing.
The T-33 takes right back off ,but the C-130 is in the trees before it lifts off

AI aircraft are controlled by FSX which is controlled by wind direction. So as far as I can tell so far you have to adjust the wind before each flight.
Soon as I get some planes doing it half right I'll send the file to you.
