Just checked, this is what I got at 25000ft heading east then se (toward the storm center) from lafayett La.
Then a 180 & drop to 4000ft!

I chose Lafayette La. because weather sattelite showed cloud cover from there to pensacola Fla.
Obviously, FSX likes to clear things up a bit!

Thats about what I get ...The last storm I had rain, heavy overcast and wind.

Nice Mike, I like Sailplane flying. It if hard to be in a session flying them as everybody else will have jets and such, You get to feeling lonely after a while.

For awhile here today, it was like standing under a water fall!
Absolutely bone dry all summer, then it all comes in 5 minutes!

At the local airport ( commercial airport) they tried to have the first airshow there in 20 plus years!
They ended up with the largest airplane wash they ever saw!
They should have brought in some DeHavilland Beavers or big Cessna's on floats!
Then they could have taken people for rides back and forth across the airport!
