So broke I can't pay attention
Helped the wife in the yard/garden, did some BB gun plinking with the kids. My oldest son came home from work with a huge 'edible arrangement', like a bouquet of all sorts of fruit dipped in chocolate, yummy.

It was a great day. My kids enjoyed being on a boat, a real boat! So did I. We saw groups and groups of dolphins right off the beach. Even saw youngins, there are cute sticking by mom's sides. Did not see any whales. I got the impression it does not happen often. Overheard someone say if you see a whale, buy a lottery ticket, should be a lucky day. Year's ago I went whale watching out of Glouster MA at Stellwagen bank. Saw lots of whales then. Anyway, since I was on the water, I did see plenty of boats. So here are some pictures of boats.

My daughter(she turned 20 June 15) took me to one of my favorite places to eat, Red Lobster. I stuffed myself so bad I almost needed the jawes of life to get me out of the booth. Lots of good conversation between us, that was good, I dont get to see her as much as I used to now that she's "all grown up" Didnt even matter that it was a Bazillion degress outside either. Overall a very good day. Nice pictures Ken nj, I wish I lived next to an ocean...

ken nj, that looks a lot like a PCF Swift boat passing the big cutter in pic 8 & 9 of the last group. The cabin forward design, the aux controls on the cabin top, etc. I know they 'borrowed' the Swift design from existing off shore oil rig work boats, so anything is possible. Any other info on that boat? Is it a pilot boat?

Are you talking about the yellow boat with VHF16 on the side of the cabin?

I spent the whole day Saturday (9:30 - 5:00) with my middle son flying model airplanes. He was home from college for the day and it was nice to just go play. Daughters went shopping - sorry, that's not a Fathers Weekend activity!

But I do mean it has the same shape, hull style, details, etc. It loooks a bit shorter than the 50' Swift, though. Maybe from the same manufacturer?

I think it was one of those Towboats. Someone said they always escort the CG boats out to the ocean.
