2. There is a kit you can get that allows firmware to be overwritten at http://overkillrc.com/products.htm#e...roduct=5053464 I have that radio, but have not got around to trying the mod. There is an rctech forum thread on this topic that is like 100pgs long or something huge like that. Im not sure if after the mod if radio will mix the way you need either. Let me know if you do try it and it works.

The firm ware allows 4 wheel steerinc etc but not break mixing

This is what I was looking for. Can it be confirmed that the break Nan be mixed? (And adjusted? )

Third channel brake mixing on the Venom/Atomik VR3T is adjustable as a percentage of the throttle/brake (channel 2) value. The third channel also has its own end point adjustments for fine tuning.

Doesn't seem like the same. Do you think the receivers would work with with the venom radio? Are they they same technology 2.4ghz (FHSS)?

Oh yes they work. have tried it on a vmx and even the other way around.
reciver looks the same just other colours.
and menu in radio is exactly the same with a few changes like the venom logo when you start it.

The picture you posted on the left is the OLD VR3T, which is not the same as the HK radio. The newer VR3T has a stubby antenna that doesn't fold.

The one I sent you is the new VR3T, and should be exactly the same as the HK.
