Thanks for the compliment but I'm just a rider on them with a passion ......
Edi is not comparable to my accomplishments he has been for so many things my true inspiration, I have always admired the work of Edi and I have taken many cues from him for ideas, Edi is the true genius of the new RC BIKE what he understood now than cure tires and inserts the new frontier was to be competitive.
I hope to see you all in Riccione and to exchange views and ideas with you for this wonderful hobby.
With sympathy Marino

hi all,

just to inform you about the experiences from last weekends international german championshio race at the leipzig track.

in the main a final we found 4 jabber bikes and 6 sb-5 bikes to take the challenge on beating the worlds best bike.

all those 6 sb-5 bikes where lightscale upgraded, took the official track record, did pole after the semis and finished second in the race.

there may be better ideas about the sb-5 but the lightscale ones seem to be not so bad in the end.

and now....................pasta............basta

Fellas, currently have to run my bike without front breaks on my SB 5....BECAUSE my new 3 channel radio does not have MIXING capabilities!!!!!! Dang!!!!

What radios are you guys using to use your 3rd channel for the front brake?????

I bought a new FS-GTB 3 channel...but just learned recently that there is not "mixing" of the 3rd channel(?) Just ON/OFF for the 3rd channel.
I bought this: http://www.hobbypartz.com/79p-gt3b-carradio-lcd.html

What reasonably priced radios can I buy that have the 3rd mixing channel for my front brake?? (I need to adjust it electronically aparently) My other bikes had manual adjustments for the front brake.

Define "reasonably priced"
Futaba 4PL or Sanwa MT4 are a little cheaper than their Top-of-the-line Radios, but provide enough functions to make you happy.

I think the Sanwa MX3X has mixing capabilities too?
The Futaba 3PL should have it too.
(Check the manual on these!!)
As far as I know, these radios can only be bought second hand now..

Beside that, I'm sure you know the rest that is available:
Futaba T3PK
Futaba T4PK
Sanwa M11(x) (cannot adjust the front brake alone)
Spektrum DX3 R or Pro (cannot adjust the front brake alone)
KoPropo EX-10 Eurus (NOT the Helios!)

If you can get one of them used, it should also fit in your Budget (especially the M11 and 3PK are available long enough to be affordable when bought second Hand).

I don't like the cheap FlySky/Venom/Ansmann/Carson/Whatever radios, (and I don't know any racer who does), so I don't recommend them.

1. theres a discussion in this motorcycle forum on this radio somewhere.
2. There is a kit you can get that allows firmware to be overwritten at http://overkillrc.com/products.htm#e...roduct=5053464 I have that radio, but have not got around to trying the mod. There is an rctech forum thread on this topic that is like 100pgs long or something huge like that. Im not sure if after the mod if radio will mix the way you need either. Let me know if you do try it and it works.

Also, the Venom 2.4 radio that is given with the bikes does have brake mixing, and I think the chinese knockoffs of that radio (I think the eTronix is the same).
