yeah i designed some alloy spokes. these also come with bolt-on wheel weights (looks like additional brake discs) so you have the option of running your wheels heavier for more gyro effect. could come in handy on wet slippery surfaces.

He's sort of back with them... he works for Associated Electrics now (AE) and they own Thunder Tiger

hi
can the present SB-5 take a nitro motor, i just saw a test of an SB-5 with what i think was a nitro version, or are we all soon to see and SB-5 Nitro version shortly.

the SB-5 as it currently sits won't take a nitro motor. i will take a fair bit of re-engineering to fit a nitro drivetrain in there.

Question? does the front brake come with brake pads, also the disk seems to almost come off the post for the rim. How far are you supposed to push the post into the holes provided on the the rim.

the design uses metal pads with a carbon disk. the metal pads should be included in the brake kit. there's no brake lining if that's what you're looking for.

the pins are supposed to be pushed all the way to the bottom. yes the floating disk at times seems to almost come off the post but that's normal unless the factory packaged the wrong length pins. the pins should be about 13.8mm long.
