I have the A-10 and it flies great. Does anyone know where to get spare parts. Have not crashed yet but might as well be prepaired.

A-10 Nacelles needed

Hi guys,

I really hate to post these wanted requests and I don't wish anything bad on anyone's plane but if you happen to have some spare nacelles for this plane (however you came by them) I am in desperate need of some:

Hi all,
thanks for all the reviews and advice so far.My HK a-10 is going to arrive any day now and I just wondered how people found the COG as recommended in the manual? Did anyone have a problem with it?
Also, has anyone had any probs yet regarding the stock set-up after adding more flights to the beast? I have heard of quite a few people replacing servos on the HK models are a precaution due to the quality........
thanks again,
Simon

simon , i have flown the he..... ll out of the stock version as is . The only mod I made was I added a light wood battery tray with velcro in the nose , that was it .
The 2.4 system works better then my $400 spectrum , its binds the very first attempt every time .
In my opinion its the best model in its price class , I love to bash arfs to more scale ect , and this is one I left 100% alone , no retracts , no mods , just fun !!!!!
CG was fine with battery in the nose .

Flies great, BUT, If you're going to hand launch, make SURE that you have a wind, or give it a really good throw. It is vital that the EDFs get airflow, otherwise you will crash on take off (see first pic).

Once it is in the air, oh baby, she is a real pleasure to fly.
It will roll nicely, just pull up a little before doing the rolls, and loops are ok, but MAKE SURE that you give plenty of room to complete the loop otherwise you could snap a wing.
Belly lands nicely, she does float quite a bit so idle the throttle on base, but be prepared to power up again if you stuff up the approach.
You will need to make a mod to protect you tail, after a while they'll crack and seperate.
There yar, my 2 cents worth.
Rob

Oh, also note that I used glassing tape on all contact surfaces to try to protect the foam a bit, which includes the leading edges of the wings and horizontal stabiliser.

Warbird Madness
Mine arrived last week. A friend has one and was flying on 4 cells with bigger ESC's and after about 6 flights he burnt out a motor. Windings were fried. I plan to fly on a 2200 3 cell nanotech. This video was prior to his motor failure. Even on 1 motor it flys great.

Hi Rob,

I want to hand launch mine as i realized the field we have here is not good enough.

I see that it is somewhat tricky. Can you give me some tips? Did you make some else throw it? Or did you do it yourself? It always seems too risky having to leave the controls.

Would walking or jogging while initiating a throw help a little?

Thanks
