How long is your fuze behind the CG, Johann? My Sally is 325mm from the CG to the end of the tail. If your's is much longer, even if you built light, you're going to have a big lever in the aft of your plane.

New Video

I got a chance to fly Sally yesterday under great conditions, and without any foamies in the sky to worry about slicing through.

I'm still working on mastering the experience of a helmet cam -- remember to follow the plane with my head and not my eyes!

Johann -- would you replace the video of my "flying dot" Sally on the first post of the thread?? At least in this one you can see it's a Sally! Thanks, dude!

Glass Sally, February in Wisconsin (9 min 35 sec)

LOVE this plane!!

Thanks, Bakkles. Yeah, Sally lives to fly another day! Barely...

With as fast as she flies, it only takes a split-second mistiming to end in disaster. I credit my saving it to my youth, when my brother and I used to play ping-pong with a dented ball to help our reaction time.

I think the Zally fuz mold has been broken...

I always enjoy your videos, Steve -- looking forward to the next one!

Layer! Are you gone, man? Still haven't seen a video or flight report yet, have we?

Great...
That makes 5!

Not that Sean's flown his yet...

1. Dudley... (If you believe him after that before and after shot!)
2. Daron's Panther
3. Bakkie's white albino
4. Jim's "Barbie"
5. Sean's yellow smiley

That reminds me...
We never put Jim's Barbie on vid!
It's around somewhere...

OK, so here it is....
The Rebels were out frolicking!

Jim "the Flying Beagle" maidened his Barbie and Daron was flying his "Pink Panther"

And I.....
Was sitting on "Barbie's" tail with a Zipper!
(Trying to keep up)

I probably should not have done that, as it was his maiden flight,
but Jim's as cool as Ice under pressure!

Jim, I didn't realize you were such a Barbie fan. When you get back to the states, and if you get to Madison, I'll take you to see these albino squirrels (and more previously-living animals in unnatural poses) in a local taxidermy museum in the basement of a funeral home! There's even a stuffed Badger wearing a "Wisconsin" sweater -- I'm sure you'll love that!

So, I just remembered that both Sean and Fubar123 are also in the shadows somewhere....
