Hey Bill

The section is PW1211, the coords can be found here...

http://www.b2streamlines.com/PWairfoils/PW1211.dat

For the chaps who will be cutting with templates, these are included in the PDF Joan posted up top.

That PDF is scaled 1 to 1 if printed at A0.

Joan, the elevons are 40mm (will double check that) and cofg is around 33-34mm back from where the pod meets the wing TE.

Um, is there any mention of a wingspan, or am I just blind?

I might just have to have a go. I used up the last of my blue foam the other day so an EPS version might have to do to start with. CF uni and glass sounds good

The wing span is in the pdf added int he first post, she only a littlen at 32".

If you're going for EPS you'll need high density stuff or the vac bag will find all the air/holes etc within the eps and you'll get a lumpy finish.

Are you aiming to SAL yours? if you're going light you wont need much/if any uni carbon, its so small and light that the glass skin and LE will be enough. My latest light weigth attempt is:-

LE = 200g glass
Wings = 50g glass
Foam Core = blue foam
I added 3 or 4 carbon tows opposed top and bottom but I'm not sure they do alot.

The above is more than enough strength and rigidity wise.

Nope, I don't find any span on the plans?

Yes, definitely SAL, so some Uni to stengthen things up and some 2oz glass over the rest will be the recipe

You're right! tell you what, I'll do the plans properly with all the measurements

FYI for SAL use you'll need to be looking at a AUW of around or preferably less than 150g's.

No wuka's

Just thinking I might do an EPS with balsa/balsa LE and some carbon Uni caps. Should keep the weight nice and light and a quick build with PU. Build 'n' fly in a day

Just have to get some template material first though..

It was no wind, me and a 135g sally. 40-50foot lobs and could stay up for almost a minute.

Nose down and then it picks up speed nicely for some axial rolls and swish loops.

LOVE IT.

Its all down to the build though as usual! Less slop the better etc...
