Looks great CN! No worries about today, I know tehachapi is a long drive to the basin. You did miss great conditions though! I might be able to make it flying Friday but don't want to commit and then flake at the last second. Will text you later in the week.

thanks guys, i know chris already did this scheme but in my defense, i had thought about doing it on my last electrolyte lol. plus, its a cool scheme that really shows up well in the air on just about any model. theres a reason the navy used this scheme...for visability lol.

bret, i wont be flying on friday now...i fogot to put the daned thing in my car this morning when i left for work lol. i think its supposed to rain anyhow. maybe the next time we meet up the T-38 will be ready to re maiden...

Brent, how far back do you put your 40mm case? Does the lip for the horizontal tail get in the way of a tail pipe?

If it does sand the fiberglass in that region back. The fiberglass tape used for joining the fuselage halves has some variability in terms of thickness when seaming the fuse. There is plenty of strength there so don't be afraid to remove some material to allow the thrust tube fit comfortably....it will be fine.

Great video bri6672! It really shows the simple landing gear takeoff and the awesome performance of the Electrolyte at 300watts. Looked like you were having fun Chris!

Can you Guys stop having so much fun.........it's not fair

Question........... what sort of wing loading are you at now with these hot setups? Has anyone tried flapperons yet on the Electrolyte to slow the landings?

ive been using flaperons since day one. it really helps slow them down nicely but makes roll rate pretty slugish. still flyable you just need full rates and be ready for slow response
