Hey Pdawg-

Are the wing skins joined at the LE and TE with epoxy? or does the foam do all the work?

Hi Steve,
We tried both techniques. Both worked however the results were better with a bead of epoxy around the perimeter as it created an airtight seal which is better for the expanding foam to achieve a uniform density.

Thank you for your kind words and encouragement!

Its been a little while since any recent developments. As many of you know producing a limited edition kit (hoping to find time for 20 kits) has been a goal of mine since the project began. For that reason its exciting to announce that the lasercut file is now a reality. This lasercut kit design will keep construction simple, keep costs to a minimum, and still make speeds of a 100+ mph with a micro edf very doable. I am hoping to have a couple kits ready to go sometime early next year.

Congratulations Bret, and I know the decision to make kits did not come easy. I bet most potential owners do not know that at any price, this is strictly a loabor of love on your part. I know you have more pressing obligations. Good luck on the sales, Doc! LOL

Thanks guys!
You definitely have a spot on the list when the time comes. So here is the beta lasercut airframe being put together. A few adjustments still need to be made to the file but overall it assembles extremely fast and is pretty light with contest balsa and film covering. The builder of this airframe should have some updates pretty soon.
