Hobby King cancelled my order and did'nt refund my money


Folks:
Has anyone experienced this from Hobby King. I have been waiting for my order to be received for 50 days now. Instead of receiving my order I got an email saying:

"Your order has been canceled. This order is beyond the time limit for a manual refund. Please open a dispute via PayPal so it can be refunded."

I opened a dispute with PayPal that was quickly closed without a refund occurring. What do I do next?

Hmm, I think that says a lot about PayPal! :-s

I would get onto HK and explain what has happened. Hopefully they can put it right. I suppose the worst that they ought to be able to do is credit it to your points balance so you can place a new order. They ought to be able to refund you though by sending money through PayPal. You may suffer fees on this though.

What do you mean you smell a rat?

I'll keep this thread posted on my results. So far I called there customer service line and I only get voicemail. I have not received any emails either.

Have you tried their live chat? It says on the website whether it's online or not (don't forget the time difference!)

Davee - Paypal has a 45 day limit to make a claim. All PP users should be aware of that BEFORE using PP..

HbbyKing is not at fault!! I ordered from HobbyKingusa not HobbyKing


HobbyKingusa is a fraud. HobbyKing is not at fault. I got scammed. I thought HobbyKingusa was related to HobbyKing and it's not. I've been violated. Here is the thread I wish I would have read before I ordered:

hellow all guys ,

i have made some order 60$ average quickly one after the other from my debit card there were 10 orders 500$ approx , after that i received a mail from hk after 1 week saying my all orders are put on hold because they want to check my debit card for the for security purpose and i have to send them a scan copy of my debit card i told them i dont want to do it cancell all orders and sice then i am waiting for my refund to be in my account , they customer executive are saying next week next week and i was told like i will be getting in 6 weeks i dont know why, i am really upset(order was cancelled on 12 feb)

is there is any way so that i can file a complaint against hk .


please help.

I know of no way to file a complaint against a foreign company.

Funny they would accept debit card funds and then question them......charges were actually made?

Unless requested to return funds to the payment source, refunds are made in credits.
Are credits shown on your account?

Have you contacted them through the Customer Service Centre?
Go to Live Support on Line.
Go to Customer Support Centre
Go to Submit a Request

Maybe you've done all this......I don't know what else to do. Use PayPal in hte future.

yes you are right i have done all above , i receiive a mail toaday saying you money is refunded ,like they are saying from past 1 weeks but NO MONEY , i dont know what to do , 500$ is very big amount for me .

i have even tired to contact hongkong police via mail but the response is very slow

feeling very irritated and upset .
